Job Description

The Princeton Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to drive the implementation of management information systems. As a key member of our team, you will identify and analyze business requirements, evaluate vendor solutions, and coordinate the various stages of implementation and enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mapping business processes and translating business needs into functional requirements
  • Researching, evaluating, and recommending vendor system solutions to meet the firm's needs within time and cost constraints
  • Developing project plans and managing deliverables against plan
  • Managing functional / user testing
  • Creating system documentation
  • Training users on new applications implemented or enhanced
  • Evaluating and improving information processes, as needed
  • Supporting the development of management reporting, as needed
  • Developing system access criteria, monitoring, and controlling all system access; and implementing security controls to secure computer systems and ensure data integrity
  • Performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning to track system performance, where applicable
  • Coordinating with outsourced IT managed services provider to support employees' desktop and network technology needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as engineering, math, physics, accounting, finance, or information technology
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing and implementing systems, improving business processes, and developing analysis & reporting
  • Financial services experience and knowledge of related systems
  • Analytical skills and ability to see the big picture
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of software development principles
  • Experience with data analysis and business automation tools
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a track record of working in and with teams
  • Excellent initiative, priority management, and organization skills
