Business Development and Sales Director

Join a world-renowned manufacturing company based in Fort Worth, Texas. We are looking for a visionary Director of Sales & Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives throughout North America and Canada. This role is ideal for a strategic leader passionate about driving impactful sales efforts, building high-performing teams, and expanding market reach, all while influencing the organization’s future direction.
Business Development and Sales Director Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or relevant discipline; MBA is a strong advantage
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and management, particularly in a B2B setting
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Spanish is a bonus
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, mediation, and persuasion
- Willingness to travel extensively, up to 60%
Business Development and Sales Director Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with overarching business objectives
- Establish pricing strategies, optimize distribution channels, and implement promotional tools to enhance profitability
- Monitor and analyze market dynamics, customer behaviors, and emerging opportunities to identify growth areas
- Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team through targeted training programs focused on product expertise, sales tactics, and market insights
- Foster strong relationships with major clients, oversee critical negotiations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands
- Conduct thorough market analysis to assess market size, trends, and competitive positioning
