Collections Specialist

Responsibilities:
• Engage in communication with members who have availed a loan but have not made a payment yet.
• Devise solutions for members to help them fulfill their payment obligations.
• Handle both incoming and outgoing calls to members on a daily basis.
• Act as a financial advisor, providing guidance to members on their financial commitments.
• Assist with processing payments from members to ensure timely collection.
• Maintain a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to de-escalate situations when necessary.
• Execute ACH/wire transfers as part of the payment process.
• Ensure members are making payments on time and take appropriate action if not.
• Utilize skills in Collection Processes, Consumer Lending, Banking & Finance Law, and Payment Processing to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, drawing on experience in the banking, finance, or lending industry.• Proven experience in Collection Processes and Consumer Collections
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Ability to Resolve Customer Service issues efficiently
• Familiarity with Consumer Lending, Mortgage Lending, and Consumer Finance
• Knowledge of Banking & Finance Law
• Proficiency in Payment Processing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
• Proficient in relevant computer applications and software
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
