We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing Lead to oversee daily production operations in our manufacturing facility. The Manufacturing Lead will be responsible for supervising a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining production schedules. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of production workers, including assigning tasks, setting expectations, and providing training and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Production Management: Monitor daily production processes to ensure that production goals and deadlines are met. Collaborate with production teams to resolve any production delays or issues.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring that the team follows proper safety procedures and that the workspace is safe, organized, and clean.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for improvement in production processes and work with management to implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies needed for production, working with the purchasing team to ensure adequate stock without overstocking.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, employee performance, and equipment maintenance. Report on production output, downtime, and any issues to upper management.
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly address and resolve any equipment malfunctions or production issues that may arise during the production process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to support production goals and resolve issues.
  • Training: Assist in the onboarding and training of new employees, ensuring they understand their roles, safety procedures, and the company's production standards.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and production systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making abilities to handle production challenges effectively.
  • Safety Knowledge: Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to production schedules.


Pay Details: 22.00 to 28.00 per hour
