Financial Systems Specialist - Washington, DC Law Firm - FULLY REMOTE $100-125k
Join our law firm clients team as a Financial Systems Specialist and be the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring smooth financial operations and user satisfaction. You'll wear many hats – from troubleshooting complex billing issues to designing reports and managing projects. Dive into the world of Aderant and become a master of efficiency
What you'll do:
- Aderant Expert: Leverage your deep understanding of Aderant Expert to configure, customize, troubleshoot and maintain the system for optimal client accounting support.
- Tackle time and billing issues head-on, collaborating with vendors and internal teams to diagnose and resolve discrepancies with finesse.
- Gather feedback from diverse stakeholders, translate it into actionable suggestions, and document improvements to make Aderant shine for everyone.
- Develop and execute test scripts for system upgrades and new features, ensuring a seamless transition without user headaches.
- Collaborate with developers to design insightful client accounting dashboards for enhanced data visualization and informed decision-making.
- Assist with crafting, testing, and deploying billing compliance rules, safeguarding accurate and efficient client invoicing.
- Bridge the gap between our team and the Aderant vendor, collaborating on template updates, troubleshooting, and new developments.
- Maintain year-end collections tools and inventory accuracy, ensuring smooth financial processes year-round.
- Run daily, weekly, and monthly time reports to optimize time entry and prevent data lags.
- Oversee the seamless import of daily time entries, keeping the data pipeline flowing smoothly.
Who you are:
- Aderant Expert: You possess at least 2-3 years of hands-on legal billing and systems support experience with Aderant Expert in a legal setting, understanding its intricacies and functionalities.
- You have a strong grasp of legal billing principles and practices, enabling you to analyze data, interpret reports, and identify potential issues.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, tackling challenges with logic and ingenuity, and finding creative solutions to complex problems.
- You excel at both written and verbal communication, explaining technical concepts clearly to all individuals and departments within the firm and collaborating effectively.
- You're passionate about staying up-to-date on the latest Aderant best practices and financial technologies.
