Apex Systems is seeking a skilled Epic Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Epic Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Epic systems. You will work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to understand their needs and gather system requirements. Your expertise in Epic systems will enable you to make recommendations for system innovations and improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Epic systems.
  • Monitor and evaluate systems, taking action to resolve any issues.
  • Observe end users and utilize knowledge of workflow to make recommendations for system innovations and improvements.
  • Work with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to understand their needs and gather system requirements.
  • Evaluate the need for hardware and software upgrades, modifications, and repairs, ensuring compatibility and operability with existing systems.
  • Perform technological feasibility studies for Epic Systems implementations or enhancements.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize Epic systems projects, performing cost-benefit analysis and documenting project scopes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Computer or Healthcare field. Experience working in a healthcare setting with Epic and/or applications support may be substituted for the required education.
  • Experience: Minimum of Three years of experience in a technical environment supporting applications and working with end users. Experience in Epic Ambulatory module(s) is required.
  • Professional Certificates: Epic Certificate in Epic Ambulatory required.
