We are offering a short-term PART-TIME contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in the civil engineering and landscape architecture industry. The role is based in our busy Charlotte, North Carolina office. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be engaging in a variety of tasks including handling customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and processing applications.


Responsibilities:


• Handle inbound and outbound calls, offering excellent customer service at all times.

• Process customer applications with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Distribute mail and manage front desk operations.

• Schedule appointments and organize meetings.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to complete tasks and manage data.

• Assist in the organization and logistical support for quarterly staff meetings.

• Order and manage office supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of office kitchen.

• Engage in email correspondence with customers and staff.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Capable of handling inbound and outbound calls professionally
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Competence in data entry with high accuracy
• Ability to manage email correspondence effectively
• Proficient in scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in administrative support roles would be an advantage.
