Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH has partnered with an international energy company to identify a Staff Accountant The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with general ledger activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Support the accounts payable and receivable functions by processing invoices and payments.

  • Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.



Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $72,000.00 per year
