Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our engineering firm. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Staffing:

    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

    • Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing needs and provide timely hiring solutions.

  • Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations programs.

    • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.

    • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in accordance with company policies.

  • Performance Management:

    • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.

    • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.

    • Develop and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

  • Compliance and Policy Management:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

    • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Compensation and Benefits:

    • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.

    • Conduct salary benchmarking and job evaluations to ensure competitive pay structures.

    • Manage employee benefits enrollment and address any related inquiries.

  • HR Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.

    • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to senior management.

    • Lead HR projects and initiatives to support organizational growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
