Director of Finance

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled accounting and finance professional for a Director of Finance role with a well-established company based in Richmond, VA.

The Director of Finance will manage and oversee all monthly accounting and finance functions for the organization. Responsibilities include leading month-end close, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and preparing financial reports for leadership.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the company's accounting and finance functions, including month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and investigate variances

  • Oversee and manage annual budgeting and forecasting

  • Prepare financial reports for senior leadership

  • Monitor financial performance and KPI’s and provide insights on recommendations

  • Supervise and manage accounting department, including performance reviews.

  • Develop, implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance

  • CPA or MBA preferred

  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting and leadership experience

 

Skills:

  • Multi-tasker with excellent time management and ability to succeed in fast past environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to lead a team

 

Salary: $75-90k + Bonus
