Medical Director – Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Continuing Medical Education (CME) - Medical Education – Medical Communications – Healthcare Communications

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Medical Director with a strong background within a Continuing Medical Education (CME) company. Qualified applicants must have experience providing scientific expertise at a medical education company (MECC) with strong understanding of CME. This is a hands-on role, not a staff management position.

This is a full-time permanent 100% REMOTE BASED/WORK FROM HOME staff position offering:

Responsibilities (directly or indirectly) will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform literature review of clinical trials, peer-reviewed articles, and other medical/scientific data sources to obtain validated content for needs assessment data and for grant requests recommendations
  • Ability to manage & mentor team members when applicable
  • Working closely with faculty thought leaders to develop educational content
  • Excellent time management, multitasking and ability to deliver projects on time
  • Ability to work with internal staff and teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience developing high quality, scientifically accurate needs assessments for grant proposals and developing educational outcomes

Qualifications:

  • MS, PhD, MD, PharmD, DO advanced degree
  • At least three (3) or more years’ experience in a Continuing Medical Education company (MECC)
  • Diverse therapeutic experience a plus
  • Understanding of AMA, OIG guidelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Proficient
  • Ability to work both independent and as a team member
