**Job Title:** Temp-to-Perm Project Manager of Events

**Hourly Rate:** $35-40/hr (based on experience)

**Schedule:** Full-time, Onsite

**Location:** Amityville, NY

**Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager of Events to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing high-profile events and tradeshows while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-end clients, handling large-scale events, and leading teams effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Client Management:** Work closely with high-end clients to understand their needs and expectations. Ensure all aspects of their events are executed to the highest standard, addressing any issues or requests promptly.

- **Event Execution:** Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of large-scale tradeshows and events. This includes managing schedules, logistics, and ensuring all event elements are in place.

- **Inventory Management:** Handle and maintain inventory related to events, ensuring all equipment and materials are accounted for and in good condition.

- **Team Leadership:** Manage and lead a team of direct reports, providing guidance, support, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

- **Problem Solving:** Quickly address and resolve any urgent issues or requests from clients to maintain smooth operations and client satisfaction.

- **Communication:** Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, team members, and vendors throughout the event planning and execution process.

**Requirements:**

- **Experience:** Proven experience working directly with high-end clients, managing their expectations, and delivering exceptional service.

- **Event Management:** Demonstrated experience in handling large-scale tradeshows and events, including planning, coordination, and execution.

- **Inventory Handling:** Experience in managing and maintaining event-related inventory.

- **Team Management:** Previous experience managing direct reports and leading a team.

- **Problem-Solving Skills:** Ability to address and resolve urgent issues effectively and efficiently.

- **Availability:** Ability to interview and start as soon as possible.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in event management software and tools is a plus.



Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
