We are offering a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Monmouth County NJ, New Jersey. The role primarily involves handling accounts payable and payroll processes in our team. This position is ideal for an individual proficient with Accounts Payable (AP), and ideally payroll.


Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of accounts payable checks, ACH, and Wires.

• Oversee the upkeep and organization of all accounts payable files and records.

• Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of these records.

• Manage the weekly payroll process, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline and automate processes.

• Monitor customer accounts, identifying any discrepancies or issues.

• Address customer inquiries with efficiency and professionalism.

• Implement appropriate action in response to customer account monitoring.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Demonstrable skills in managing all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP).

• Experience in Payroll processing.

• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and precise reports for informational, auditing and operational use.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail oriented.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and detail oriented manner.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is desirable.
