We are seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Wilmington, Delaware. This role will involve working on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, primarily focusing on customer interaction, data management, and logistics coordination. The position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, providing a unique chance to grow within the company.


Responsibilities:


• Accurately format and upload Excel manifests from importers into various systems, ensuring data consistency.

• Manage real-time updates of inventory statuses and order fulfillment through various customer inventory systems.

• Collaborate effectively with customers to specify pallets for pickup and provide timely updates on orders and deliveries.

• Monitor the flow of goods through the supply chain and expedite processes to ensure timely deliveries.

• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, and third-party vendors to address any logistical challenges.

• As needed, arrange and broker trucking services for the transfer of goods to customer warehouses.

• Ensure smooth delivery by monitoring and following up on the status of all shipments.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any concerns related to orders and deliveries.

• Maintain accurate customer records and process customer credit applications efficiently.

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel and Word, data entry, and customer service to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role

• Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing inbound and outbound calls

• Experience in a call center customer service environment

• Skilled in data entry and order entry

• Proficient in emailing and handling email correspondence

• Ability to schedule appointments effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must have a positive demeanor

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
