Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Needed in Winder, GA

ProCare Therapy is actively searching for a qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Winder, GAthat is seeking to join one of our trusted school districts for the 2023-2024 school year. The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans and providing one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. The RBT works under the supervision of a BCBA or licensed psychologist to deliver effective ABA services and assist in improving the lives of clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement behavior intervention plans and treatment protocols developed by the supervising BCBA or licensed psychologist.
  2. Will be working with behavioral therapist traveling to school sites.
  3. Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, following the principles of ABA.
  4. Collect and record data on client's progress and behavior using designated methods and tools.
  5. Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments and skill assessments as directed by the supervising professional.
  6. Collaborate with the BCBA or supervising professional to modify treatment plans based on individual progress and needs.
  7. Maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with clients, families, and other team members.
  8. Attend regular supervision meetings with the BCBA or supervising professional to discuss client progress and receive feedback.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions and interventions.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of ABA.

Qualifications:

  1. Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent education is required; additional education or coursework in psychology, special education, or related field
  3. Must have ABA or behavioral management experience to be considered.
  4. Please provide 3 professional references, one of which being a current or former supervisor, in order to be considered for this position.
  5. Prior School Experience Needed

Interview Process

  • 1015-minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
