As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting cycle counts of physical product in the warehouse, verifying SKU, locations, quality, and quantities of merchandise, and maintaining Inventory Accuracy Spreadsheet as it relates to cycle counting and corresponding adjustments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cycle counts of physical product in the warehouse, verifying SKU, locations, quality, and quantities of merchandise.
  • Maintain Inventory Accuracy Spreadsheet as it relates to cycle counting and corresponding adjustments.
  • Evaluate daily cycle counting processes and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate with associates and leads in other departments to ensure coordination and consistent inventory counting practices.
  • Maintain company housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Research and resolve basic inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory adjustments as needed and complete adjustment forms.
  • Organize and maintain inventory work area.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Order Picker Forklift certified.
  • 1 year of inventory control experience, specifically cycle counting and reconciliation experience.
  • Proficient with PC and AS400 System, PkMS, and RF experience a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Products, specifically OUTLOOK, WORD, and EXCEL.
  • Proven dependability.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand transaction audit records.
Working Conditions

This position requires constant standing, frequent bending, and frequent pushing/pulling. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle/grasp objects frequently. The work environment is a warehouse with a heating system/air conditioning and a noise level of less than 85 decibels.
