Position: Logistics Planner I
Location: Headquarters – Moon Township, PA

Hours of work: Full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 PM
The Logistics Planner I will be responsible for developing S&OP and capacity plans for materials in line with the annual business plan and executive S&OP changes.
Manufactured Materials:
- Develop and maintain production schedules for materials at multiple CCC manufacturing facilities and Toll manufacturers for the most effective utilization of manufacturing capacity, cost and working capital targets. Responsible for planning, stock levels and order fulfillment
- Responsible for the Logistics operations related to Toll manufactures and/or Distribution Centers: develop and maintain operating scope and budgets, ensure inventory accuracy, ensure on-time deliveries and reconcile material balances.
Sourced Materials:
- Develop and maintain vendor(s) purchase orders and their production schedules. Develop and maintain production schedules for secondary processing of materials at multiple CCC manufacturing sites and Toll manufactures for the most effective utilization of manufacturing capacity, cost and working capital targets. Manage customer order fulfillment, stock levels and master data accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Develop and maintain annual operating cost centers for facilities managed by Logistics. Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and track costs to annual operating plan. Effectively utilize sales forecast and trends to determine appropriate assets to optimize efficiency and cost. Monitor monthly and report on variances.
- Maintain material master data views in SAP for responsible planning materials. Develop inventory target and safety target levels along with inventory classifications and maintain for each material master. Develop, maintain and report on monthly forecast accuracy for assigned materials/BU lead. Develop and maintain Toll Manufactures and or distribution centers BOMS & Routings for accuracy or quarterly cost updates.
- Support the various Logistics department functions to ensure efficient and effective work processes. Execute special projects / task as assigned.
- I Identify block stock and slow-moving inventory for working capital improvement. Initiate approved WCR plans and ensure timely execution.
- Manufactured Materials:
- Accountable for physical Inventory variance for Distribution Centers and/or Toll Manufacturers. Ensure the monthly inventory reconciliation for toll vendors, conduct and verify cycle counts correspond to inventory in SAP
- Sourced Materials:
- Accountable for purchase order accuracy to ensure vendor requirements such as production/quality specifications, packaging, pricing, INCO terms, ship dates, etc. are listed and communicated accurately. Responsible for resolving discrepancies between the purchase order and actual receipt through SCAR process.
- Develop and execute production schedules for the production facilities and/or toll manufacturers to meet customer orders and maintain inventory targets by effectively utilizing data outputs from the Monthly S&OP Plans, MRP, Sales Forecast and Historical data. Develop and initiate requisitions/purchase orders for sourced materials based on the determined requirements.
- Interface with vendor(s) and production facilities to analyze if actual production performance is aligned to the purchase plan/orders and CCC production schedule requirements. Develop actions plans to mitigate constraints and order fulfillment issues. Initiate vendor SCARS and report to procurement vendor issues impacting supply. quality and cost changes. Report imbalances with inventory levels and vendor status updates through S&OP process. Manage unconfirmed sales order process for assigned materials. Develop order fulfillment plan and ensure execution. Provide prompt feedback to sales / customer service any effects to customer demand.
- Develop S&OP plans for Manufactured and Sourced materials. Determine and communicate shortfall or excess demand / capacity balances for monthly S&OP meeting and annual business plans. Optimize vendor schedules and production plans incorporating capacity levels, product volume, mix and timing, transportation zones, production cost and rates. Develop alternative scenarios to off-set imbalances between demand and capacity for vendor/master production schedules assignment. Maintain key internal interfaces with Procurement, Logistics team members, Sales Directors, TSR, Plant Personnel and Product Management to obtain current demand and vendor management information to effectively manage demand and capacity changes.
- Effectively utilize the SAP system and other interfacing planning modules to impact demand/production planning inventory accuracy. Continue to maintain expert knowledge with SAP requisition/purchase order and MRP functionality and execution.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university is required (Logistics or related degree; or equivalent work experience)
- 3-5 years of planning, scheduling, and logistics operations experience is required
