Collections Specialist

We are currently recruiting a Collections Specialist for a role in the industry located in GRANBY, Connecticut, 06026-9738, United States. This role offers a contract with potential for permanent employment and involves managing Accounts Receivable and Collection Activities, along with Dispute Resolution.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct inbound and outbound collection calls, addressing customer inquiries, disputes, and concerns regarding outstanding balances professionally.
• Monitor and review customer accounts for outstanding payments and overdue invoices.
• Contact customers via phone, email, or written correspondence to follow up on overdue accounts and arrange payment schedules.
• Negotiate payment terms with customers and develop payment plans when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection efforts in the system.
• Investigate and resolve customer payment disputes or discrepancies, working with internal departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to ensure accurate billing.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Update and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to management as needed.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.• Must have experience with Accurint.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Knowledge of CRM is essential.
• Experience with Epic Software is necessary.
• Must possess expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently.
• Must have a thorough understanding of Billing Functions.
• Experience in Claim Administration is desired.
• Mastery of Collection Processes is a must.
