Blood Collection Specialist

At Synectics, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and following established protocols.
- Prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication, creating a positive experience for patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate specimen processing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Keyboard/data entry experience and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- Availability to work a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional flexibility to meet laboratory needs.
