Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Endpoint Specialist to join our IT team. The Endpoint Specialist will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, management, and support of endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. This role involves ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of all endpoint systems, while providing exceptional technical support to end-users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Endpoint Management: Configure, deploy, and manage endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices, ensuring they meet organizational standards and security requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for endpoint issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and resolving user-reported issues in a timely manner.
  • Security Implementation: Implement and maintain security measures on endpoint devices, such as antivirus software, encryption, and patch management, to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Software Deployment: Manage and deploy software applications and updates to endpoint devices using automated tools and methods.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze endpoint performance to ensure optimal operation, and identify and resolve performance-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of endpoint configurations, support activities, and inventory management.
  • Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to end-users on best practices for using endpoint devices and applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support projects and initiatives involving endpoint technologies.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex endpoint issues and escalate to higher-level support as needed.


 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

Experience: Proven experience as an Endpoint Specialist or similar role, with hands-on experience in endpoint device management and technical support.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, SCCM), operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and common productivity software.

Security Knowledge: Understanding of endpoint security best practices and technologies, including antivirus, firewalls, and encryption.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality support and enhancing user satisfaction.
