Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Desktop Engineering, Server Engineering, Security Engineering, and Operations teams to identify and implement security controls, policies, procedures, and initiatives on physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.
  • Drive the agreement and implementation of security mandates, balancing risk to the business functions with security risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows security threats and technologies to ensure the organization's security posture remains strong.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Desktop Engineering role.
  • 7+ years of experience in working in IT services organization.
  • 3 years of experience in a Financial Services environment.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience with endpoint security technologies.
  • B.S in Technology or related area (proven experience can be used as a substitute).
Desired Skills:
  • Expert-level experience with Windows OS, registry, file system, and Event logs.
  • Experience with Group Policy and Intune security-related configuration and management.
  • Troubleshooting and managing endpoints with Intune.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in general, especially around OS and security settings.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Security certifications like Ethical Hacking or other specialized endpoint security certifications.
  • ITIL certification.
