Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are in search of an HR Generalist to join our team based in Rochester, New York. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves a wide range of human resources duties. As an HR Generalist, you'll undertake responsibilities such as maintaining organized files, ensuring compliance, managing employee relations, and providing training.

Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain organized employee files to ensure accurate record keeping
• Oversee the organization of I9 documents in accordance with legal requirements
• Develop and implement training initiatives to enhance employee performance and productivity
• Ensure company-wide compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
• Manage employee relations, fostering a positive work environment and addressing any issues promptly
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce for HR tasks
• Maintain knowledge of Benefit Functions and assist employees with related inquiries
• Utilize excellent communication skills to relay information effectively within the company
• Manage and navigate FMLA inquiries and processes
• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for recruitment processes.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Skills in Ceridian and Dayforce software
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills
• Experience in Compliance and Employee Relations
• Understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a similar HR Generalist role
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
• Experience with conducting interviews and employee onboarding
• Knowledge of current HR practices and laws
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
