Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Robert Half is working with a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and support services. As part of their commitment to patient well-being, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, supporting patients in their healthcare journey by providing financial guidance and assistance, this role involves contributing to a compassionate and supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in applying for medical assistance programs.
- Counsel patients on navigating medical bills, insurance benefits, and available financial resources.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Review patient accounts and ensure accuracy of billing information.
- Educate patients on available financial assistance programs and eligibility criteria.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and resources to support patient financial needs.
- Provide training and support to other staff members on financial assistance processes and procedures.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the efficient operation of the department.
- Work closely with hospital administration to develop and implement financial assistance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance.
- Preferred experience in a healthcare facility, insurance billing, Medicaid eligibility, or social work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Trustworthy, detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and organized.
- Comfortable working in a hospital environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30p
