Job Title: Paraprofessional for 2024-2025 School Year (Bus Riding Duties)

Location: Putnam, CT

Hours: 7:15 AM - 9:15 AM

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Putnam, CT. This position involves assisting students during their bus rides to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist students during bus rides.
  • Provide support to students with special needs, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
  • Collaborate with the bus driver to manage student behavior and maintain a positive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and parents as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to manage and support students in a calm and patient manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of students.

Schedule:

  • 7:15 AM - 9:15 AM, Monday through Friday during the school year.
