Medical Staff Coordinator

We are seeking a Temporary Credentials Coordinator or Medical Staff Coordinator for a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in medical staff services and hold one or both certifications: CPCS or CPMSM.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in MD-Staff software and Microsoft Office
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsibilities
- Coordinate medical staff functions, including:
- Credentialing support
- Focused and ongoing professional practice evaluations (FPPE/OPPE)
- Continuing medical education processes
- Expirable tracking and verification processes
- General office support to ensure smooth Medical Staff Services operations
- Support committee meetings and maintain strict confidentiality of records
- Ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, and pertinent policies
- Maintain knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS standards, Title 22 regulations, and case law relevant to Medical Staff Services
