Robert Half has partnered with a national REIT in search of an entry level staff accountant. This role will be part of a high potential and growing team of accountants and support senior accountants in the day-to-day accounting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a supportive environment. We are looking for a high-potential individual with a solid foundation in corporate accounting who is ready to learn and advance within a national hospitality real estate investment trust.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior accountants with property-level financial statements and accounting tasks
  • Support the preparation and reconciliation of month-end close processes
  • Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
  • Assist with payroll processing and related accounting duties
  • Participate in special accounting projects as needed
  • Help maintain accurate financial records and reports for multiple properties
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or actively pursuing degree)
  • .5+ years of recent experience in corporate accounting (internship is ok)
  • Basic proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end closing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in real estate accounting is a plus, but not required
