Job Posting: Onsite Behavior Technician (Preferably RBT) for Soliant Education

Position: Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Near Roseville, MN
Contract Period: ASAP through End of the 2024-2025 School Year
Hours: Full Time, 31.25 hours per week (6.25 hours per day)

About the Role:
Soliant Education is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians to provide crucial support in behavior classrooms for a district that caters to students in grades K-8. This role is vital in ensuring effective behavior management and promoting a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies as outlined by the supervising Behavior Analyst or Specialist.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioral challenges.
  • Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and responses to interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and adjust behavior management plans.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a structured and supportive classroom environment.
  • Participate in professional development and training sessions as required.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Preferred: Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in behavior analysis or related fields preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in a behavior support role, is highly desirable.
  • Strong munication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
