About Our Agency:

The Behavior Doc is a behavior analyst-owned and operated agency, staffed with doctorate-level analysts. We prioritize our providers, believing that well-trained and supported professionals are essential for delivering effective treatment and achieving quality outcomes for our clients. Our commitment to transparency in our mission is matched by our dedication to the professional growth and development of our staff at all levels.

Position Overview:

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) play a crucial role in the direct implementation of behavior intervention plans for individuals with special needs and behavioral challenges. They will engage in one-on-one sessions with clients in various environments, including home, school, and community settings, as determined by caregivers and the designated lead behavior analyst (BCBA). RBTs will receive comprehensive training and ongoing supervision from the case supervisor. Typical interventions may involve reducing problematic behaviors (such as non-compliance, aggression, self-injury, and elopement) as well as teaching specific prosocial skills (including adaptive behaviors, verbal communication, and social skills). RBTs will not be assigned to clients until they have completed formal training on the delivery and teaching of all interventions, along with methods for collecting behavioral data.

Job Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess experience working directly with individuals with special needs and/or children, demonstrate a willingness to learn, and have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in applied behavior analysis (ABA).

To qualify as an RBT, candidates must complete a 40-hour RBT training course (self-paced, online) and successfully pass the RBT examination. The Behavior Doc will facilitate access to the necessary training and will cover all costs associated with the examination for individuals who begin working with the agency without the RBT certification.

Education Requirements:

A GED or high school diploma is required, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

CPR Certification is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain CPR certification upon hire.

Position Type:

This is a part-time hourly position, primarily in the afternoons (3-6 PM), with the potential for transitioning to full-time employment.
