Behavior Technician Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Behavior Technician to join our team at Catalyst Behavior Solutions. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavioral intervention services to children with special needs in various settings, including in-home, in-school, in-center, and in the community.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the success of the RBT.
  • Complete a BACB-approved RBT course and maintain registration current.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining accurate client data, recording session notes, and adhering to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must pass a background check, including fingerprints.
  • Must have at least 1-year experience working with children.
  • Active Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work.
  • RBT or Bachelor's Degree (On-Site training provided for RBT certification).
  • Maintain BLS Certificate (On-Site training provided for BLS).
