Job DescriptionJob Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client with a Bookkeeper/Senior Accountant need in Folsom, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your depth of accounting skills from accounts payable, billing and job costing to the month end close and budget preparation. You will be a critical component of the financial success of the organization. This is a direct hire role in office.

 

Some key tasks are:

  • Working with the accounting team and those outside of accounting you will assist with budgeting and forecasting to improve financial performance.

  • You will be responsible for all bank and balance sheet reconciliations, review of accounts, journal entries and financial statement preparation.

  • Responsible for all accounts payable processing and reconciliations.

  • Responsible for all project billing, cash posting and reconciliations.

  • As the department grows you will guide and train on accounting procedures and ensure that all deadlines are met.

 

Experience required:

  • Accounting or Finance degree highly preferred.

  • Recent experience in a similar role required and five plus years progressive accounting experience needed.

  • QuickBooks Enterprise or similar software desired.

  • Excel

  • The role requires a demonstrated ability to interact with non-accountants and customers to meet financial goals.

  • Construction industry or project-based accounting industry experience highly preferred.
