Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday

We are seeking a Spanish Bilingual Benefits Coordinator for a 3-6 month project with the potential to transition into a hybrid role after the first month. The primary focus of this role is administering leave of absence and disability programs for all employees. The successful candidate will advise employees on leave eligibility, benefit programs and claim procedures. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders (Management, Legal, HR Business Partners, Payroll, etc.) and external stakeholders (disability carrier) in accordance with local, state and federal laws

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process LOA (Leave of Absence), EDD Claims, STD/LTD and military leave and FMLA requests.
Identifies, calculates, and communicates to LOA employees the benefit premiums that are due upon their return
Maintain and update employee benefit records with accuracy and attention to detail.
Utilize Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting of benefits-related information.
Communicate with employees in both English and Spanish regarding benefit inquiries and claim statuses.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless handling of benefit programs.

Requirements:
Must have at least 1 year of experience in benefits administration
Must be Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal communication).
Strong experience with LOA, EDD Claims, and FMLA administration.
Proficiency in Excel for data entry and reporting.
