Robert J. Manning Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship Position

The Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (MEI) Department at the Robert J. Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell, invites applications for the Robert J. Manning Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship. We seek a tenured full professor or advanced associate professor with a Ph.D. in a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited school.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high-quality research agenda and mentor Ph.D. students
- Engage in university entrepreneurial initiatives and collaborate with faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, and broader community stakeholders
- Teach three courses per academic year, with at least one at the undergraduate level
- Tenured Full or Associate Professor with a Ph.D. in a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited school
- Demonstrated ongoing research with a record of publications in top-tier journals in entrepreneurship
- Proven teaching effectiveness and commitment to experiential and career-connected learning
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student and faculty groups and proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience in supervising and advising doctoral students
- Strong commitment to service, both internal and external
- Involvement in entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
