The Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (MEI) Department at the Robert J. Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell, invites applications for the Robert J. Manning Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship. This esteemed position is open to tenured full professors or advanced associate professors in AACSB-accredited schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a high-quality research agenda, mentor Ph.D. students, and engage in university entrepreneurial initiatives.
- Teach three courses per academic year, with at least one at the undergraduate level.
- Collaborate effectively with faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, and broader community stakeholders.
- Tenured Full or Associate Professor with a Ph.D. in a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited school.
- Demonstrated ongoing research with a record of publications in top-tier journals in entrepreneurship.
- Proven teaching effectiveness.
- Active engagement with regional or national entrepreneurship organizations.
- Commitment to experiential and career-connected learning.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student and faculty groups.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience in supervising and advising doctoral students.
- Strong commitment to service, both internal and external.
- Involvement in entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
