Job Summary

The Contracts Analyst Intern position offers an entry point to the Contracting Department at the base level. This role supports Contracts Analyst I, Contracts Analyst II, Senior, and Management level positions within Contracts as necessary. The Contracts Analyst Intern assists with oversight of the contracting process during bidding, pre-construction, and construction phases as the Contracts group is involved.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Track and maintain correct version history of exhibits and other documents sent and received.
  • Perform document control functions including managing internal and external file repositories, organizing file structures, and ensuring that records are maintained and up to date.
  • Draft email lists of action items to responsible parties after meetings as required.
  • Attend all project-related meetings and distribute any updated dates and prices.
  • Assist in developing processes to increase efficiency of the design team.
  • Request and maintain diligent records of Parent Guarantee, Bond, and Certificate of Insurance as well as maintaining diligent records of communicated deadlines.
  • Assist with project close-out with oversight to ensure all contractual requirements are documented appropriately.
  • Redact contractual documents following guidelines provided for internal information.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
  • Current 4-year University student, studying Construction Management, Business Engineering.
Benefits and Pay
  • $20-$25/hourly, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
