Job Title: Business Development Lifecycle Program Trainer

The Business Development Lifecycle Program Trainer will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions that drive business development lifecycle objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business development processes in a client account management setting in the AEC industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop clear and engaging end-to-end learning experiences and performance-focused solutions aligned to business development lifecycle objectives.
  • Apply adult learning theory, industry best practices, and evidence-based instructional design strategies to develop a learning program and supporting training materials.
  • Partner with sales leadership positions to conduct needs assessment and training needs analysis to develop strategic plans, design learning solutions, and conduct resource planning.
  • Act as an internal consultant and trusted advisor to program stakeholders, adeptly maneuvering through the instructional design process from analysis through evaluation.
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration amongst stakeholders by effectively developing, communicating, and negotiating buy-in to workplans, timelines, and scope.
  • Draft, revise, and edit instructional materials such as course outlines, templates, style guides, video and audio scripts, instructor guides, participant guides, learning assessments, and course evaluations.
  • Develop and deliver through varied forums: in-person classroom-based, virtual instructor-led training, and self-managed training for a broad range of participants.
  • Partner with the Corporate Learning & Development Team to ensure materials are compliant with Corporate LMS system standards and other processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 15+ years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge of business development processes in a client account management setting in the AEC industry.
  • Experience in the design, development, and delivery of training materials for multiple delivery methods.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office to develop training templates, visual aids, and job aids.
  • Experience using content authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, to develop web-based training content.
  • Experience applying graphic design principles and best practices to training development.
  • Superior communication skills; oral and written.
  • Strong collaboration and teaming skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to data-driven decision-making.
