Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to support one of our largest material handling clients in the manufacturing industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing downtime reports to identify root causes and implementing solutions to increase productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, procurement, integration, and installation of production equipment in assembly areas
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production issues to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Design and implement fixtures and tooling using Solidworks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Catia
  • Develop and implement industrial assembly processes and methods, including controlled tightening tools and automated conveyors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology (Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Materials/Chemical) or associate degree in a technical field with applicable experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical skills in design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
