Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits on medication management with a focus on controlled substances and other pharmaceuticals.
  • Engage with Clinical Leaders to resolve any discrepancies identified.
  • Enhance automation systems to facilitate proactive monitoring of diversion activities.
  • Aggregate data into visual dashboards to illustrate program compliance.
  • Deliver presentations of data during program calls and meetings.
  • Provide analytical support to ensure adherence to pharmacy-related regulations.
Data Acquisition
  • Collect transaction data for controlled substances from all relevant sources.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to compile necessary data for reporting purposes.
Report Verification
  • Address requests for controlled substance data in a timely and precise manner.
  • Generate regular and specialized reports as required.
  • Ensure data accuracy through thorough validation processes.
  • Create comprehensive reports and visual aids for leadership review.
  • Conduct surveillance activities related to controlled substances to identify potential concerns.
Audit Responsibilities
  • Perform audits on controlled substance inventories and associated documentation.
  • Identify and rectify deficiencies in record-keeping practices.
  • Assist with internal audits by providing necessary data and insights.
Quality Assurance
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of pharmacy operations.
  • Identify and mitigate medication safety issues.
  • Participate in quality audits and improvement initiatives.
  • Implement lean management strategies for process optimization.
  • Work autonomously on assigned projects.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and communication capabilities.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing or healthcare settings.
  • A medical background is advantageous.
  • Certification as an LVN or CPhT is preferred.
