Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing vital services in caring for personal needs and provision of comfort to patients and families
  • Performing tasks specific to the age of the patient population
  • Working as a member of the treatment team to provide patient care and program duties
  • Implementing programs and managing the milieu
  • Documenting patient care and charting provisions according to registered nurse direction

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients and working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Additionally, data entry skills and answering multiple phone systems will be essential.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school graduate with two or more years of post-high school education, majoring in behavioral health, psychology, sociology, nursing, or other psychiatric/medical related program
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, office experience, and 6+ months in the behavioral health field
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
