Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver essential personal care and support to help seniors maintain their independence at home.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
  • Support mobility through ambulation assistance, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
  • Provide medication reminders, document client conditions, and communicate any concerns to supervisors.
  • Ensure a safe living environment by maintaining clear pathways and addressing potential hazards.
  • Engage clients in enjoyable activities such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.

Qualifications for Home Health Aides:

  • Certification in Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) registration in Ohio.
  • A minimum of 12 months of hands-on personal care experience in a supervised environment.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • A compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
