Essential Functions
  • Follow up on required admission paperwork.
  • Consult with staff regarding patient care issues.
  • Review and approve care plans and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to collect and document information.
  • Support nursing staff with interviewing, new hire orientation, schedule coverage, performance evaluations, and corrective counseling.
  • Assist staff in problem-solving regarding patient care issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
  • Handle family, physician, and staff concerns while on duty.
  • Review visit utilization for appropriateness of care guidelines and client conditions.
  • Work with managers and clinicians to address trends that affect the agency's outcome and process measures.
  • Consult with clinical staff to clarify data integrity issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
