Job Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fosters an engaging and dynamic atmosphere where the impeccable delivery of premium services is essential.
  • Oversees and evaluates performance and quality standards within the Facilities Maintenance division.
  • Mentors team members while enhancing their competencies through a consistent and approachable style, clearly defining expectations.
  • Distributes resources to areas that enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to Caesars Entertainment's success.
  • Supports the organizational goals, ethics, and principles of Caesars Entertainment.
  • Manages workforce planning and organization within the Facilities Maintenance team.
  • Supervises all repairs of facilities and equipment to ensure a continuous supply of essential services such as lighting, heating, water, power, and climate control, recommending necessary upgrades as needed.
  • Conducts and oversees preventive maintenance and repair tasks on kitchen appliances, building mechanical systems, HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other property equipment.
  • Keeps team members updated on changes in policies and procedures, providing necessary guidance to rectify issues and enhance performance.
  • Maintains documentation and submits regular and special reports as required.
  • Instructs assigned staff on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Completes and processes all reports related to workplace injuries or illnesses in accordance with established procedures.
  • Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for assigned staff.
  • Prepares the property for seasonal transitions (heating, cooling, evaporative coolers, etc.).
  • Anticipates events, promotions, tournaments, and special activities (special fixtures, computer lines, phones, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of machinery, switch gears, power equipment, electrical systems, computer networking, and telecommunication systems.
  • Stays informed about current building regulations and codes.
  • Acts as a role model for other employees, consistently presenting oneself as a representative of Caesars Entertainment and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Complies with all regulatory, corporate, and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in skilled trades or building maintenance operations; experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possession of personal hand tools is required.
  • Experience working alongside tradespeople and responding to maintenance and hotel repair requests.
  • Licenses or certifications in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electronics, or kitchen equipment are desirable.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Able to work in extreme temperature conditions.
  • Self-driven and disciplined.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) and computer literacy is essential.

  • Physical ability to walk over 5 miles during a workday and stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs., and perform bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and balancing tasks.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and navigate easily around the property.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and auditory signals.
  • Ability to tolerate environments with varying noise levels, temperatures, lighting, vibrations, and crowds.
  • Capable of working independently and self-supervised.
  • Possesses strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to operate various equipment, including man lifts and power tools.
  • Must be able to tolerate environments with secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
