POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of our products to ensure they meet the required specifications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing incoming, in-process, and final products for quality assurance
  • Gathering and maintaining certificates and COC's from suppliers
  • Documenting non-conformances for items provided by vendors
  • Performing administrative tasks such as filing, word processing, and emailing
  • Undertaking additional tasks as directed by management
PRIMARY CONTACTS WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION

This position collaborates with Supervisors, the Quality Manager, Engineers, Project Managers, and other employees as necessary. Additionally, this role engages with clients regarding any issues or concerns that may arise.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organizational and efficiency skills
  • Proficient analytical abilities
  • Correct gauging techniques for effective metrology
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Capability to manage multiple and evolving responsibilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Preferred: Two-year degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience, including familiarity with common precision hand tools and techniques
  • At least 1 year of experience in fixture design and fabrication

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT UTILIZED
Personal Computer, Fax Machine, Telephone, Copier, Measurement Instruments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position operates primarily in an office environment while frequently conducting inspections within the manufacturing facility.
