Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor

At JBS USA Holdings, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for planning and directing activities related to the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for plant processes, materials, and products. This includes analyzing process reports, troubleshooting problems, and implementing corrective measures to ensure quality issues are resolved.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct Quality Control Testing: Conduct assurance control testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor, utilizing and/or adapting inspection equipment to meet quality control standards.
  2. Investigate and Troubleshoot: Investigate and determine the cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors on corrective measures.
  3. Ensure Quality Standards: Ensure that sell-by and production dates are correct on product runs.
  4. Direct and Supervise: Direct and supervise a group of employees involved in inspection and quality assurance procedures to ensure quality assurance standards are achieved.
  5. Maintain Records: Maintain time and production records, including inspection records and quality control reports.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in food manufacturing quality control preferred
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Good math skills
  • Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
  • Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
  • Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
Working Conditions:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will work in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to wet, damp, and cold conditions. Temperatures may be below freezing, and employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their work days.
