Logistics and Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics and Inventory Specialist to join our team at Modern Group LTD. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Packing and Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment using FedEx and UPS systems, pack outbound product carefully and neatly, and communicate daily with departments about shipment information.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a neat and orderly shipping area, participate in ongoing inventory process, unpack and examine incoming shipments, recording overages and damaged items, put away and pull inventory from assigned locations, and assist with unloading incoming shipments.
  • Customer Service and Safety: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in logistics and inventory management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Proficient computer skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, and deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Licensing and Certifications: A valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Work Environment and Schedule:

The work environment is low noise, and the work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feet. The employee may occasionally climb a ladder or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Occasional driving is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:
