Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as an Ultrasound Sonographer. This full-time position will be based at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp in Fort Collins, CO.

Responsibilities
  • Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care to perform various ultrasound procedures.
  • Contribute to ensuring safety and quality at the point of care.
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
  • Analyze results and identify issues with imaging quality.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification in Breast Sonography (BS) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 6 months of experience in Mammography or Breast Sonography.
