Ultrasound Technologist Job Opportunity

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide top-notch patient care and perform various ultrasound procedures. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting ultrasound exams and analyzing results to identify any issues with imaging quality
  • Implementing safety standards and performing quality control procedures on equipment
  • Providing patient education and ensuring their understanding and cooperation during exams
  • Troubleshooting and resolving equipment malfunctions as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certification in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
