Job Title: Network Automation Solutions Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Automation Solutions Developer to join our team at Merge IT LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing programmable network solutions and automations to support our enterprise-level clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of Automation as a Service strategy to increase efficiencies across the board
  • Participate in planning, design, development, implementation, and integration of programmable network solutions and automations
  • Drive and develop various projects as the principal point-of-contact and support solution delivery, testing, UAT, and production deployments
  • Collaborate with various teams to build and support various automations and workflows
Requirements:
  • At least 6+ years of experience as a software developer
  • Expert-level experience with Python, Ansible, Jinja2, API Development, Airflow, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Expert-level experience with MongoDB, MS SQL Server, RabbitMQ, or any NoSQL databases
  • Professional-level experience with at least one or more open-source UI frameworks, such as React JS or Angular, Bootstrap, and Node
  • Familiarity with SDN architecture and technology, with a deep understanding of SDN, orchestration, scheduling, and cloud platforms
Preferred Skills:
  • Public cloud platforms
  • SD-WAN technologies
  • Data center technologies
  • Network applications and appliances
  • Automation and DevOps tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, GIT, etc.
  • Container technology, such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with integration technologies, such as REST API, RESTCONF, Netconf, gRPC, SOAP, etc.
  • Solid understanding of modeling languages, such as JSON, YANG, YAML, and XML
  • Solid understanding of SaaS, IaaS, and API-first principles
  • Experience with ServiceNow is preferred
  • Experience in large Enterprise infrastructure and networks is preferred
  • Experience/exposure with MS development stack, such as ASP.NET, C#, MVC, SQL Server, is desirable
  • Knowledge of OAuth and SAML concepts is preferred
