Job Description

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation at Zivaro Inc. by developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise in modeling and analyzing complex systems and their broader system-of-systems architectures.
  • Architecture Development: Conduct trade studies and comparative performance assessments of system and architecture alternatives to inform customer investment decisions.
  • Model-Based System Engineering: Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) to define system functions and develop functional and performance requirements.
  • Architecture Implementation: Develop architectural views using DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
  • Analysis and Evaluation: Analyze MBSE models to derive mission threads and use cases to aid in system-level verification planning.
  • Business Process Improvement: Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggest improvements.
  • Business Architecture: Create business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and create and implement business visions and goals.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals by creating methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
  • Strategic Planning: Determine and implement build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Architecture & Design: Experience in architecture and design using Cameo.
  • Modeling and Simulation: Experience in DoDAF, SysML, and UML modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering: Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using Cameo Enterprise Architect.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in Rational Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or other comparable tools.
  • Modeling and Simulation Tools: Experience with MATLAB, STK, AFSIM, Simulink, Model Center, or other comparable modeling and simulation tools.
  • Descriptive Modeling: Proven experience in use of descriptive modeling for architecture solutions.
  • Unified Architecture Framework: Solid understanding of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).
  • Cameo and SysML Applications: Experience in Cameo and SysML applications.
  • DoDAF Experience: Hands-on experience with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, good leadership and motivational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics) or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance REQUIRED.
