Job Summary

The Choctaw Global team is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team as a Behavioral Health Specialist. In this role, you will provide state-of-the-art, professional services in human performance and behavioral health to support the physical and behavioral capacity and resilience of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Warriors and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to SOF Warriors and their families.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapies to address psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
  • Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, and military commanders as required.
  • Maintain accurate and current notes in electronic medical records and produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment.
  • Participate in military-specific training and activities, such as security clearances and use of DoD clinical practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) or equivalent degree from a graduate school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
  • Current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice social work in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Minimum of two years' current experience in the independent practice of clinical social work in a mental health setting.
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior military and/or SOF experience.
  • Experience working in a Government setting, such as DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF.
  • Prior experience in Substance Abuse/Disorder Treatment.
Working Conditions

The LCSW shall function within an operational unit, as a Behavioral Health Care Provider. The LCSW shall attend and participate in meetings during normal duty hours, professional staff conferences, and other appropriate professional activities.

The LCSW is responsible for the application of social work procedures and techniques, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidenced-based therapies, in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
