JOB SUMMARY

This position is designed to assist in Financial Planning & Analysis for Inspire Brands' owned restaurant locations, providing essential support to restaurant management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver daily assistance to restaurant management by addressing inquiries related to brand profit and loss statements and aiding in the development of reporting frameworks.
  • Conduct variance analysis, offering insights into key performance drivers, critical observations, and actionable suggestions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to effectively gather and manage their requests, educate them on financial protocols, and provide hands-on assistance in resolving issues with both internal and external parties.
  • Act as a genuine business partner, responding to ad hoc inquiries and ensuring the success of operational teams.
  • Work closely with various internal stakeholders, including accounting, corporate finance, lease management, construction, and restaurant operations.
  • Continuously identify and recommend improvements to streamline daily operations, enabling Business Partners to achieve greater success.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a comparable role is required.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Exceptional analytical and communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Capability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated problem solver with strong business insight and the ability to foresee challenges and devise innovative solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools for analysis and presentation, such as Tableau and Power BI, is preferred.
  • Experience with Enterprise Planning and Reporting software like Hyperion, ePBCS, and SmartView is preferred.
